As part of Filipino culture, most especially to the Roman Catholic, Visita Iglesia or doing the Way of the Cross was a yearly activity to reminisce and reflect the sacrifice that Jesus done to redeem us in our sins. Because of this, the Finance Committee of San Pablo Apostol come up of the project Visita Iglesia where in, the parishioners were encouraged to join this kind of activity/journey.
This project was started by the Finance Committee year 2009 where we visited different churches in Archdiocese of Laguna, while year 2010 we visited different church in Archdiocese of Bulacan and this year, Abril 16, 2011, we visited churches in Archdiocese of Batangas.
The eight churches we visited in Batangas are: St. John The Evangelist Parish in Tanauan, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Malvar, San Sebastian Cathedral Parish in Lipa City, St. Joseph Parish in San Jose, Basilica of Immaculate Conception in Batangas City, Immaculate Conception Parish in Bauan, Basilica of St. Martin Tours in Taal and last is the Our Lady of Caysasay sa Taal where Fr. Carlo Bittante held the Holy Mass as the conclusion of our journey.

Bilang bahagi ng kulturang Pilipino, lalo na sa mga Katoliko, ang pagbi-Visita Iglesia o ang Daan Krus ay taun-taon nating ginagawa bilang pag-aalala at pagninilay sa sakripisyong ginawa ng Panginoong Hesus upang tubusin tayo sa mga kasalanan. Dahil dito, ang Finance Committee ng San Pablo Apostol ay nagkaroon ng proyektong Visita Iglesia kung saan, inaanyayahan ang mga taga-Parokya na lumahok sa ganitong mga gawain/paglalakbay.
Inumpisahan ang ganitong proyekto ng Finance Committee noong 2009 kung saan binisita natin ang iba’t ibang simbahan sa Arkidiyosesis ng Laguna, samantalang noong 2010 ay sa iba’t ibang simbahan ng Arkidiyosesis ng Bulacan tayo nagtungo at nitong nakaraang Abril 16, 2011 ay sa simbahang nasasakupan ng Arkidiyosesis ng Batangas.
Ang walong simbahang pinuntahan ng ating Parokya kasama ang mga parokyano ng San Apostol ay ang St. John The Evangelist Parish sa Tanauan, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Parish sa Malvar, San Sebastian Cathedral Parish sa Lipa City, St. Joseph Parish sa San Jose, Basilica of Immaculate Conception sa Batangas City, Immaculate Conception Parish sa Bauan, Basilica of St. Martin Tours sa Taal at Our Lady of Caysasay sa Taal kung saan nagdaos ng Banal na Misa si Fr. Carlo Bittante, FdCC bilang pagsasara ng ating ginawang paglalakbay.  |
